Customs Tax, Duties
and Restrictions
to Netherlands

Restricted goods may enter the Netherlands only with a license, certificate, or additional compliance.

Common restricted items include:

- Medicines and medical supplements (require Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board approval)

- Plant and animal products (subject to NVWA clearance)

- Electronics (must comply with CE safety marking)

- Food, seeds, or soil (require phytosanitary certification)

- Chemicals and aerosols (regulated under EU REACH and CLP)

Certain goods are strictly prohibited from import into the Netherlands.

These include:

- Narcotics and controlled substances

- Weapons, explosives, and ammunition

- Counterfeit goods or fake branded products
