Tracking a Shipment

Whether you use shipment tracking information to improve your bottom line or are simply looking for some peace of mind, NEX provides several methods to help you track your shipment's status.

1. Using Tracking Numbers

NEX uses tracking numbers to identify and trace every shipment as it moves through the NEX system to its destination. A tracking number is automatically assigned to your shipment, whether you use an online shipping system or a paper-based method (NEX Waybill). You or your customer can use this number to track, locate, and verify the arrival of your shipment, and keep track of other pertinent shipment details.

2. Tracking by Reference

Whenever you create a shipment, you can assign it a shipment reference that easily coordinates with your billing or filing systems or those of your customers. This reference can contain any combination of letters and numbers and can be a Purchase Order (PO) number, a customer´s job number, a Bill of Lading number, or even a group of words that identifies the shipment, such as "gift for Mom." Use this reference to track your shipment by going to the main menu Track by Reference page. Input your reference in the Reference field, select your shipping dates. Then select the Track button.

3. Signature Proof of Delivery (POD)

Signature POD is a web-based service that provides enhanced tracking and delivery information. Each time you track a shipment using Signature Tracking, your tracking results may include Proof of Delivery with:
